I need to know if there is a method out there to place the PTFE molecules within the polymer network and substrate of a crosslinked thermosetting silicon after it has been cured. Could I use a Vaccum? or Shoot the PTFE at the surface at a high velocity? how can I mechanically bond this stuff to my silicon surface? Thanks.....

In order to bond PTFE to silicone, you must etch the PTFE chemically to prepare the surface for bonding using a sodium complex.

We manufacture etched PTFE. If you would like a quotation, you can email the sales department at texloc@texloc.com.
